The lifeline of India, the common man’s travel has just undergone a slight premium makeover while the wheels also got faster. Gatimaan, India's fastest train hit the tracks on Tuesday.<br /><br /><br />The train was decorated ahead of its maiden journey from the Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station on Tuesday. The maximum speed it clocks: 160 km per hour.<br /><br /><br />As melodies floated through the air at the station, train stewards and hostesses welcomed the passengers with roses on board the Gatimaan Express.<br /><br /><br />The train also has a high-power emergency braking system, automatic fire alarm, GPS-based passenger information system and sliding doors in the coaches
